Description

Dipropylene glycol is a nearly odorless fragrance diluent valued for its neutrality, consistency, and ability to create precise working dilutions. It enables easier dosing of powerful aroma molecules and viscous materials without introducing its own perceptible scent. Perfumery grade DPG is specifically refined for a low intrinsic odor—an important distinction, as technical and industrial grades are not intended for the same delicate perfumery applications.

Fragrance Profile: A virtually odorless material with only a very faint, soft sweetness. DPG is not used to create a discernible scent note; instead, it acts as a discreet carrier, aiding in accurate dosing, even distribution, and controlled release in fragrance concentrates, perfume oils, and functional fragrance applications.
